Ariana was founded by Bonnee Gupta back in 2007 with support from her husband Amit Gupta when they identified the need for readymade curtains which weren’t readily available at that time. Having moved houses in a hurry, it was not possible to get customised curtains made when they knew they might move again. They realised that this was not an isolated phenomenon. Most people in India with transferable jobs were looking for well designed ready made curtains. Named after their first daughter, Ariana opened its very first doors on 7th October, 2007 in Kolkata, India. Amit Gupta officially joined the business in December, 2011 after quitting the corporate life. The couple now runs the business together. What started as a humble store for readymade curtains has now expanded to a lifestyle brand that caters to creative individuals. Ariana now operates through retail chains like Home Stop (Shoppers Stop), Spencers, Spar, Metro Cash n Carry and online portals like Myntra, Amazon.in, Grofers.com, etc. You can visit our flagship stores in Kolkata at City Centre-1 and Axis Mall & in Mumbai at Lake Homes, Powai & Tirumala Shopping Centre, Andheri.
Our product offering consists of Ready Made and Custom curtains, Bedding products, Home Decor and Smart furniture, Apparels and Face masks.
We started Ariana with a very small team and have now expanded to a team of about 125. We are fortunate enough to have employees working with us for a long period of time. Our team never backs down from a challenge and is constantly working on innovating new products. During the 2020 pandemic, Ariana managed to stay afloat mainly because of our employees’s support.

We’ve decided to ditch plastic and switch to reusable packaging for our bedsheets, dohars, and bed covers. We’re constantly innovating environmentally friendly products.
